剧情简介
在与一颗彗星发生碰撞后，小行星“奥菲斯”上一块近8公里宽的碎片正朝地球飞来。如果撞击发生，将会引发一场毁灭性的灾难，人类可能会因此灭绝。为了阻止流星，美国宇航局想使用非法核武器卫星“大力神”，但很快就发现它的火力不足。他们唯一拯救世界的机会就是与苏联合作，苏联也发射了类似的非法卫星。但两国政府会同意合作吗？
